Na'ama Teschner

Na’ama Teschner is a lecturer in the Department of Geography and Environmental Development at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Be’er Sheva, Israel. She researches environmental policy and planning, examining the role of technology in social and ecological change. Her current research focuses on various aspects of energy policy and climate change, such as the implications of a future energy systems, energy efficiency at national and local levels, and energy poverty. She received her doctorate from the University of Leeds, UK and did her postdoctoral research at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technion. In between, she examined closely the interface between science and policy as a researcher in the Knesset’s Research and Information Center.
